We had a wonderful time sailing with Clipper City! Very relaxing with jazz music playing, complementary snacks, and a bar. The limited number of people made it a more personable and intimate experience. The crew were very attentive and polite. The views of New York at night were spectacular!

I emailed Manhattan by the Sail on June 26 but have not received a response so i would like to bring this up here. Dear Manhattan by Sail, I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to bring to your attention an unfortunate incident that occurred during our recent sunset sail on the Clipper City this past Saturday, June 24th at 7:30 pm. Before delving into the details, I would like to emphasize that our intention is not to disparage your company but rather to address a concerning issue that tarnished our experience. We hope this doesn’t happen to other groups in the future. Firstly, let me introduce myself. My name is Christian Atendido, and I am writing on behalf of a group of ten friends who embarked on this particular voyage with Manhattan by Sail. We had chosen your esteemed company to celebrate my wife's birthday, looking forward to a memorable evening on the beautiful ship. Regrettably, our experience was marred by an incident involving one of your crew members. As we were exiting the ship at the end of the sail, a white male crew member made a racial comment that left us feeling deeply uncomfortable. He said, "they are checking passports up top," seemingly directed at our group of Asians. Such a comment was highly inappropriate and disrespectful to my friends and me, and it cast a shadow over what was meant to be a joyous celebration. I would like to stress that this incident is especially disheartening considering that I spent $1,000 for my wife’s birthday for this sail. Additionally, I would like to mention that I have been awaiting an email from your company to provide feedback on our trip, but as of now, I have not received any communication. Hence, I felt it necessary to reach out directly to you to address this matter promptly. While I do not have a name or remember the crew member's face, I would appreciate it if you could investigate this incident thoroughly. We understand that identifying the individual might be challenging without more information. However, it is crucial that your crew members are aware of the significance of respectful communication and treat all paying customers with the dignity they deserve. We trust that Manhattan by Sail will address this issue with the utmost seriousness and professionalism. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience. Had a lovely relaxing time on the clipper cruise. Happened to have an amazing sunset, got very close to the statue of liberty and loved the stop around where the skyscrapers were. Only negative was that I don't think we had the full 2 hrs as stated, more like 1 hr 40 mins.
