A very interesting tour which took us to places we would never otherwise see. Great to get off the beaten track and see some of Harlem and The Bronx. Our tour guides were fantastic, extremely enthusiastic and clearly had a real love for the music and culture of Hip Hop. My only complaint would be that the sound system on the bus was extremely distorted. There was a lot of music and some movie clips played and at times it was quite difficult to make out what was being said. It needs to be updated.

We did the Harlem walking tour. You only need to be tangentially interested in hip hop music or dance to love this tour. You'll learn about the lives of every day New Yorkers, the history of crime in the city, the impact of gentrification, the art form of graffiti, and the beginnings of jazz and the civil rights movement. Everyone in our family thought it was an excellent way to spend a morning, plus our guide gave us great recommendations for some restaurants for lunch.
