An very informative and entertaining tour. If you are in anyway interested in the history and roots of Hip-hop music, GM Caz is the perfect guide to take you on a journey through the birthplace and cradle of this music. He is able to share his knowledge in a very engaging way that makes the four hours of the tour fly by.

I took the family on this tour during our stay in NYC. Although I’m not a huge follower of hip hop culture I’m so glad I did. The tour was led by Grandmaster Caz, one of the the first originators of hip hop. Not only can he lay claim to that he is also warm, funny and engaging. He showed genuine concern when helping my kids cross the road. By doing this tour to get to see parts of NYC you may not otherwise see, parts of the Bronx and Harlem. By travelling in a comfortable mini bus your legs are saved from 4 hours of walking and a lots of distance is covered. We stopped off at Jacobs Restaurant for a tasty soul food buffet lunch

We were recommended the Birth of Hip Hop tour by a friend and it didn’t disappoint. We took the tour on the 22nd March and it was so informative, full of energy and so varied. If you love hip hop or even if you are looking for something different in NYC this is definitely the tour for you. So many photo opportunities, great stories and of course great music. We loved it. I don’t want to post anymore as there will be spoilers, you just need to go and experience for yourself!!
