In this Upper East Side Architecture Tour, we will examine highlights from this Victorian era legacy including the Henry Clay Frick mansion, the Metropolitan Museum, the French Consulate, and, of course, Central Park. In addition, our tour will look at modern masterpieces such as the Guggenheim Museum by Frank Lloyd Wright and the former Whitney Museum Marcel Breuer.

As soon as the weather got nicer, we booked this tour of the Upper East Side to explore this part of the city and learn more about its wonderful architecture and all the different styles and history that it contains! It felt so enriching to stroll past the Gilded Age mansions of New York's Upper East Side and imagine that time in the past. I loved how there are so many architecture gems in this area and each of them is from a different style, from the Frick Mansion, to the Guggenheim, to the former Whitney Museum by brutalist architect Marcel Breuer. Ivan's knowledge is unparalleled when it comes to the architecture and history of the city, and the passion with which he conveys all of this makes it super entertaining. A definite must-see and must-do whether you are visiting or live in NY!
