Our next destination is the iconic Washington Square Park, where we’ll taste focaccia bread sandwiches at a beloved bohemian gem.

The Saloon

We stop outside North Beach’s most venerable landmark, the Saloon. This time-honored establishment traces back to the 1800s with stories of kidnapped sailors not to be missed. Note of caution: 21+ and older to enter.

Full, we embark on a short journey to mysterious Chinatown. We’ll explore additional haunted locations in its labyrinth of streets.

My work team and I had the absolutely pleasure of participating in the North Beach tour with our guide, Robert. He was very knowledgeable and accomodating to our divergent minds and want for tour participation coupled with general cameraderie building. By the end of the tour, our bellies were full of delicious food & wine, our minds loaded with new knowledge and our 6th senses ignited. Thank you, Robert for a wonderful experience!

We had an event last night that went though the ghost history of North Beach, and saw these restaurant hidden gems! All the food spots were so great. It was such a fun tour and super educational/entertaining! :) Would definitely recommend to any folks who want to learn about the history and fun ghostly topics of North Beach!

What a fun evening! We were celebrating a friend’s birthday and since she loves ghost tours and Italian food, this was a perfect fit. The stops were a great mix of entertaining storytelling and yummy food. Robert is a phenomenal guide who was so thoughtful and knowledgeable. We even enjoyed a special birthday treat for my friend and another guest—complete with candles! Really couldn’t ask for more.
