This is something that has alway caught my eye, what better than to ride round this beautiful place taking it all in on a horse & carriage....the Irish guy, sorry forgot his name 😁 anyway he was great, talking all through the tour so we knew what was what and what's going to change there...he also let us stop at the fountain to take photos and he also took lots of photos of us too. So I guess for the 40 mins or so we had we got our $90 worth, we gave him an extra $10 tip! This is a one off thing to do in New York, yes it is expensive but it's a lovely thing to do on a hot summers day!! 😊

I know it seems silly, but I have seen these types of things happen all over and the horses are poorly treated. All these horses where in great shape and well looked after which meant I could enjoy the ride. Our driver MR Boyle from Cavan was a joy, informative and helpful and took us on a tour of Central Park. It was a lovely way to see it and a welcome rest from all the walking. Would recommend.. Visit tavern on the green, good stop for refreshments and people watching

On a whim we took a horse carriage around Central Park. Our driver ( sorry I don't remember his name) who was Irish did a great job describing the buildings and historical sites. He took his time and made sure we could hear what he was saying clearly. The tour took us deep into the park and more likely we saw points of interest we would not have seen had we toured on our own. Overall it was a good choice and good value for the price.
