See historic and colonial St. Mark's in the Bowery Church, the burial place of Peter Stuyvesant, the last Dutch Governor General of New Amsterdam. Stroll down Second Avenue with its Little Germany turn-of-the-century architecture. See funky St. Mark's Place, current and former home to Beatniks, punk rockers, and jazz greats. I thoroughly enjoyed this food tour, however, I would have liked a little more to eat. We have done several of the other food tours and they have little meals at each stop. This one was a little light in that area. That being said, the tour guide, Gregory, was sweet and funny and personable and very informative. I really had a fun time.
