We got 10:00 tickets for a Thursday morning and after skipping the offer of iPads (paid for) we were up very quickly in one of the first groups.
The view was breathtaking and it was great to be up there when it was practically empty.
There is no detail or posters of what you are seeing, hence they try to rent you an iPad, but I’d rather not be looking at a screen. That was disappointing but the staff do a regular talk where they provide history and some more details.
This was very nostalgic, you can’t help but be aware of the significance of this tower and what it replaced. I would consider it a must do for NYC.
