So we booked the TV and Movie tour for August 16th. We rushed to get to the meeting spot on time and met Scott... Let me just say that he is AWESOME... a true asset to this company (friendly, always smiling, handsome, engaging...) The bus lands up being 40 mins late, which he says never happens. We get this mini bus … you can barely see out of, the AC in the back is not working and the driver is rather rude... But Scott, intent on making this tour the best ever, tries his best to make this fun. After being on the bus for 10 minutes, the driver abruptly stops the bus and refuses to move because Scott is standing up. No joke! We are there for 20 mins (now the tour is delayed over an hour!). Scott calls his boss and we are given 3 options... 1) get off the bus for a full refund. 2) rebook for the next day (we couldn't because we were leaving the next day on our bus tour) 3) stay on and make due... We chose to get off and get a full refund ( 2 minutes later we received an email saying we are getting the refund!). Did I mention the bus driver yelled at a customer? Seriously... he was so unprofessional (and I have to add he is NOT AFFILIATED WITH ON LOCATION TOURS.) So we were dropped off by Central park (and picked up at Elen's Stardust Diner)…
All in all we enjoyed those 10 mins... We loved Scott and actually felt super bad for him for having to deal with this driver's BS but also super bummed we didn't get to see any of the places we wanted to see...
I would absolutely book with them again next time we are in NYC!! And hope to get Scott again! The company was really great about everything...
