AJ was a very knowledgeable tour guide. We got on and off several subway trains and he spoke at each station about the history of that station. He showed us old tile that was covered up and as we went past some old abandoned stations he shined his flashlight so we could see them. I would recommend this tour but if you are in a wheelchair or on a scooter or have difficulty with stairsit is not for you.

We're sure the information would have been interesting if we could have heard it. A substantial portion of the tour was conducted in the subway. The provided earphones were of such poor quality we couldn't hear the tour guide over the roar of the trains for most of the tour. We should have been provided noise cancelling headphones. In addition, our guide seemed to be more concerned with getting to his next appt than in communicating clearly. Basically, we didn't get the tour we paid for.

Hi Dorothy, I thank you for taking the time to leave this honest feedback of your tour and I apologize that you found your experience to be lacking. We don't usually hear that about our earpieces and I do find it surprising considering you and your guest were the only two people on the tour that you couldn't hear your guide well. In essence you paid a public tour price for a private tour. But we will look into the issue and make sure his audio sets are working properly. The cost to provide every guest with noise-cancelling headphones would be prohibitive to both us and the guest. I would also be appreciative of reaching out directly to tell me what other aspects of the tour you felt you didn't receive since you're mainly citing poor audio quality as the reason for your review. I will surely address the guide about the issue of perhaps rushing through the tour but his next appointment was his next subway tour in which he received a five-star review on the same day. My guide was Justin He was excellent in every way .He made tour exceptional and he excelled with his knowledge of underground and transportation
