This was the highlight of our vacation! Captain Reece and the other guide - forgot his name, but he looks a lot like The Rock - were friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend booking the earliest possible tour to avoid choppy waters. My 3 year old loved it too. He originally wanted to get in and swim with the sharks but once we got there, he quickly changed his mind and decided to stay on the boat. It was still just as exciting for him! My only complaint is with the Viator Company itself. Because of the size of our party (which included 2 children) I had to call Viator to book this, months ahead of time. The Viator employee put me on hold to call the tour company to inquire about the children. He told me the tour company said the adults could pay at the time of booking and the kids could just show up with us and we could pay for them when we got there if they decided to go. He indicated it was not a problem. When we arrived for our tour, the company had no knowledge of this arrangement and told us they hadn't accounted for any children and there are only so many bodies allowed on the boat per federal regulations. And they were not able to issue any refunds due to the 24 hour cancellation policy. Talk about an angry chick right here!! Luckily, the attendant made some calls to the Captain and they were able to accommodate all of us. Thank you North Shore Shark Adventures! If you are as excited as I was to do this excursion, I would recommend you call them directly to book it.
