My daughter and I choose the 10:45 tour so we did the Airboats first - Justin was our guide and he was great! Very informative, friendly, fun, answered lots of questions, took us all over, pointed our gators in the areas we just went through and then stopped in other areas. The bayou/swamp/marsh was so amazing and beautiful. We also saw several alligators up close. Then we took the bus ride to the Plantation, about an hour and a half - the bus is air conditioned but the road are a bit rough on the way. The plantation is beautiful. You walk the grounds for a bit and then you get a quick tour of the house and learn some of the history of it. On the way to the French Quarter we went over the longest bridge in the world - 24 miles long. That was a bonus we didn't know about. We really enjoyed the entire tour but the Airboat was my favorite part.
