Olive Oil, Cheese, and Wine Tasting with Local Expert

After 10 years in Italy and a Master’s in Food Philosophy and Sustainability, I’ve come back to my hometown to delve into the food scene here. It is truly a pleasure and an honor to educate people about the best of what California can produce.

My family began making olive oil 20 years ago on our home property. It has since grown to a full fledged business and our oils regularly win awards at domestic and international competitions.

You will taste olive oil like the professionals do, learn the basics of cheese tasting, and sip some of my favorite Californian wines coming from small artisanal producers, many of whom I call friends. All while enjoying the beauty of our working farm nestled in Suisun Valley!

You must be 21 years old and above to participate in wine tasting. Those under 21 can partake in the evoo and cheese portion of the tasting.

I never thought tasting olive oil would be so interesting and similar to other foods like wine. I learned heaps about tasting and how wine and olives are grown. The location was absolutely stunning! Will definitely be returning to Il Fiorello to taste more wine and oil. Elisabeth was such a great guide and made learning about complex tasting notes really approachable.

We took one of Elisabeth's tours in Napa when friends came to town and loved it so much that we also booked this experience at her family's olive oil farm! I've always loved olive oil and it was fascinating to learn about how it's actually made (they make it there!) and the setting is so lovely, especially at dusk, when we ended. The cheese and wine were delicious too! Elisabeth is so extremely knowledgeable, I am planning on taking her all her other tours as well. Loved it!

Elizabeth's tours are always so informative and full of local intel. The tour itself provided a lot of variety and I really learned a lot about things I've been curious about for a while but In just haven't known where to even begin to learn about them. Absolutely fantastic tour! I cannot recommend it more highly!
