Обилазак олимпијског националног парка из Сијетла

Преглед
Olympic National Park is well known for having several different ecosystems to explore: subalpine forest, wildflower meadows, temperate rain-forest, and the rugged Pacific Shore. This twelve hour tour allows you to sample each of these systems with the added advantage of having an experienced guide to answer any questions that may arise. Come explore tide pools along the coastal beaches, roam among old-growth forest, trek atop mountain ridges with breathtaking vistas and stand by glacier-birthed rivers and lakes. The tour begins on a leisurely ferry boat ride over the Puget Sound to the Olympic Peninsula. The exact itinerary will be curated by the tour guide however our first stop will usually find us at Hurricane Ridge where you will hike to an incredible view of the valley below and the snow-capped mountains in the distance. We will move on to Crescent Lake and the seasonally Sol Duc Valley, and a sandy beach along the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Please plan on walking six miles.

Basically a rain out. Tour should be canceled on days like this. Kevin was a great guide with a positive attitude but all that occurred were two short walks through huge puddles of water. Love the group size of 10 people in a smaller vehicle. Ferry ride was nice.

Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry to hear that the rain put a damper on your experience. While we always try to make the most out of every tour, Washington State is well known for its wet weather, and sometimes rain is just part of the adventure here. If you’re looking to avoid the rain, we recommend visiting during the summer months when the weather is typically drier. We understand that it can be disappointing when the weather isn't ideal, but we’re glad to hear that Kevin’s positive attitude and the smaller group size were highlights for you. Thank you again for sharing your experience!
