Olympic National Park is well known for having several different ecosystems to explore: subalpine forest, wildflower meadows, temperate rain-forest, and the rugged Pacific Shore. This twelve hour tour allows you to sample each of these systems with the added advantage of having an experienced guide to answer any questions that may arise. Come explore tide pools along the coastal beaches, roam among old-growth forest, trek atop mountain ridges with breathtaking vistas and stand by glacier-birthed rivers and lakes. The tour begins on a leisurely ferry boat ride over the Puget Sound to the Olympic Peninsula. The exact itinerary will be curated by the tour guide however our first stop will usually find us at Hurricane Ridge where you will hike to an incredible view of the valley below and the snow-capped mountains in the distance. We will move on to Crescent Lake and the seasonally Sol Duc Valley, and a sandy beach along the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Please plan on walking six miles.

Joel was amazing and very informative. The trip was perfect. Lasted about 12 hours and we got to see a beach & waterfall, hike to the top of a breathtaking mountain ridge, take a ferry, and hear interesting facts about the forest and nature. The bus was comfortable with seats that push back a bit and the group size isn't too large (I think 22 max). The first stop is a little gas station/store/deli for supplies for the day - sandwiches and little snacks to pack for the drive around the Olympic park. The hikes were manageable for most people and you could go at your own pace. My husband and I had an amazing time and it felt like a great deal for the money. I would recommend bringing an extra pair of socks or two as the mountains were snowy in May and my shoes weren't waterproof. Otherwise you need a nice pair of comfy pants and shoes suitable for a few miles of easy hiking (grips for mountain ridge) as well as a windbreaker and a decent hat to keep your ears warm. Layers a plus with the wind.

The park is absolutely beautiful and every part of the day planned to perfection. Loved every minute of hiking and exploring the park with Joel and the group. The day was filled with adventure, spectacular views and so much fun! Thank you Joel for an unforgettable adventure!

This company is absolutely amazing; Starting from booking a trip to the end of the trip it has been 5 stars (I wish there were more stars to give). Desiree was amazing helping me book this 12 hr Olympic Park trip and answered all my questions with patience, kindness, and professionalism (you made my day!) Joel, our guide for the trip, made our experience absolutely amazing and enjoyable. Even though the trip was very long and had many stops, Joel was happy to answer any and every question any of us had (There were seven of us in the bus). Joel was very mindful of the weather (and time) and planned all stops around it, which is why we had great ferry rides, had an absolutely perfect view of Hurricane Ridge, Crescent Lake, had awesome forest walk, enjoyed waterfalls, and the beach. Joel, you rock - thank you for all the stories about animals, culture, nature and Big Foot! As a great ending of our tour, Joel offered us a ride to the airport (we were running almost late for our plane) - how nice was that?THANK YOU!! Your kindness is very much appreciated! To sum up, Throughout the years and many travels, my husband and I went on many trips/excursions. This one stands apart as the best we’ve ever had because of the planning, professionalism and the value of experience.
