What a special day! We met our guide Ron right on time and got oufitted with very comfy e assist bikes. Orientation was proficient. Ron was informative , very pleasant, knowledgeable about plants, geology, animals and other sites of interest, the indian canyon hike was just right in length and very interesting . Good idea to take the 8 am trip, traffic quiet and more to see up in the canyon, not busy at all. The ice cream at the end was a pleasant surprise and nice treat!

There was a little problem getting a reservation. If you wait too long, the trip gets cancelled due to lack of participation. After the reservation, there is still no guarantee trip will go unless more people sign up. For single travelers, this makes for uncertainty in your schedule. Good to be flexible. Overall the trip was interesting. The guide was knowledgeable and interesting. The bike ride and hike were not difficult, but hills were sometimes challenging (in a good way).

From the moment Rahul picked us up at the hotel in the morning to the time he dropped us off, he shared so much amazing information about Palm Springs with us: history, architecture, plant & animal life....he was a fantastic tour guide! The bikes were so great we decided to keep biking for the rest of the day. HIGHLY recommend Big Wheel Bikes !
