What a great experience! From beginning, till the rain arrived and ended things early:( But everything else was stellar. All the employees were so kind and helpful. My kids and husband included, enjoyed all the festivities they included for us. Canoe rides, arts and crafts to making hawaiian headbands, bracelets to fun tattoos! Everything is included in the package, but please don't forget to bring extra cash to tip on drinks, and the fun stations they provide. The food wasn't bad either, they provide multiple stations to get your food, buffet style.
TIPS:
Arrive early!
1. We arrived early around 3pm and hung around the neighboring beach, at Au Lani, that way we're close to Paradise cove (5 mins away) and not fear of traffic or any mishap.
2. We drove to paradise cove around 4:00pm and parking was fairly easy and it's free. Securtiy directed us.
3. Check in early, and stand in line. By doing this, you get better seatings, especially if you purchased the basic package like we did. We were on the wing seating, but by arriving early we were able to get the front area of the wing, which was perfect.
4. BRING BUG SPRAY.
5. Once you get your assign seats (Gate opens at 5pm, but get in line prior, read tip above), get up, get drinks (lines are long). Start the activities as you only have 1.5 hours before food and show starts (6:30 pm) and lines can get crazy. Start with the headbands and bracelet making, as the lines are longer too.
6. Bring your tripod so you can take your own photos. Go towards the beach area, nice photo opportunities to catch the sunset before things get too dark.
Have fun!!!
