The worst tour guide (TONY) I never write reviews but i really do not want anyone else to spend this much money and have this bad of an experience again.
(from reading other reviews, seems like you should be asking for PAULIE) only! Wish we had Paulie!!!!
First of all, be prepared to pay for all of your own tasting fees ( i was personally not used to this) and when i was told we had to pay $25 a person for the 1st winery, i fussed a little in a joking way, like whattttt? 25 dollarsss? and Tony responded " oh come on, you guys live in Malibu and you are complaining about $25?" super rude... Sorry but, living in Malibu does not mean we like to get ripped off and throw money away!
We were reminder each time that it’s time to wrap it up so we can make it to our next place...
While at our 3rd winery (mind you, pretty tipsy at this point), he walked up with the "student" he was training and looked pissed already. he rudely said, well... you guys spent too much time here and now i can't take you to the final winery and will be taking you all back to your hotel. clearly we were upset and told him that we did not pay $150 per person for a ride, and then to pay for our own tasting ($25-$40 per person), and to also skip our final winery! he yelled and said, we told you its time to go and now we are leaving (he thought the student had told us but he had forgotten which he denied as well)
We still had 15 mins and the 4th winery was not far so we convinced him to take us anyway but he was not happy about this and gave us attitude the whole time.
After he dropped us off, i realized i had left my phone in the van which i could see on the map and confirmed but driving to the lot, in the am, i notified him and he said hes unable to get to it again until 2 pm. He asked us to meet him at the paso inn but when he got to the van, he called and told me he could not find it and that he is done looking. i told him that i am tracking the phone and it is there, he is just not seeing it. i asked him to please meet us at the paso inn so i could look for the phone myself. He then yelled and said well, this is inconvenient for me and i hope you know that i am doing you a favor even though you guys are jerks.
When he got to the paso in, he already had another tour in his van (imaging talking to your customers like this in front of other customers) unprofessional and rude!
Thankfully i got my phone back but will never ever book with this company again.
