Do not book, transport is through Karma Tours. Go to any review site and look at the reviews, the one star reviews are absolutely terrible and align with my experience as well…
The driver was extremely rude, condescending and passive aggressive. I made a mistake on the pick up because they sent a text two days before which I didn’t fully digest because we have several texts from other tours we were taking, I skimmed it, saw pick up time and the clear bag requirement while at the monument. They sent a reminder asking to confirm I saw the text or email with pick up information. I replied I had seen it and looked at my booking app and emails from the booking not realizing the text was from a different company telling me to ignore the booking company pick up spot. We showed up 20 mins early to the address given in texts, emails, and on the app voucher. The driver did call me and did pick us up, which I appreciated, but twice on the phone he said I obviously didn’t read the text that I replied that I had seen. Then I have a clear bag but also a tote with two waters and two sandwiches in it, to which he again said I didn’t read the text I had said I read. I left this on the bus since this is the same but that will pick us up, my mistake. He left the doors wide open when he walked us up to the front, I’m sure because he assumed I would leave it. When we got to the front he asked me where my bag was and said I couldn’t leave it there because he didn’t want the liability. I get it, kind of. Not that I expected him to watch my bag, but EVERY tour has been accommodating in this regard, all of the drivers either hang out at the bus or lock the doors. I walked back to the bus, took it out and set it by a tree. This parking lot is all tour busses and not a lot of random people hanging around so I’m feeling there is a low risk of it getting stolen, but if it did it wasn’t a huge loss. At this point I didn’t even want to do the tour anymore, and definitely didn’t want to ride back with him. At the end of the time I walked back to the bus that was already leaving (it was exactly the time he said to be back) and he asked if I was joining them on the way back to which I said he can go; he said OK as he drove off. And SURPRISE! my bag was gone. I am guessing he took it just to prove a point. Don’t book this tour with this company, anyone else, even just Uber there and buy tickets directly, is better than how we were treated. The driver was more concerned with being right than being effective, or just giving a little grace. If they reply they will say I hope you have a nice rest of your vacation anyway, aloha, because that’s the Hawaiian way.
