Was a very early morning, when we got to where the bus was parked it was almost full and the three of us could not get seats together. A long day, but worth the look. If you are into the early days of the States, it is a good trip. The Amish trip was not what we were expecting, but it was a nice day out.
The tour guides really let this tour down! The Amish Country portion was awesome and the Amish people were so lovely and accommodating. Philidelphia was great too, but it felt very rushed, in fact everything felt rushed. Our tour guides had a thick accent and we had Italian and Spanish tours on our bus.
When we disembarked the bus, but the time we got off (we were sent to the back of the bus when we arrived) the English tour had already finished so half the time we didn't know what we were looking at or any history behind it! It was very poorly run.
Worth doing for the Amish portion but the tour operator really let this tour down!
Really enjoyed this tour, our guide was great and knowledgeable. He had a couple that needed translation but he had them sit up front and did the translation off the microphone, so thoughtful that we didn't have to listen to his conversation with them. It was nice to visit the Amish country and do a buggy ride and to visit Philadelphia and see the Liberty bell.
