Our family thoroughly enjoyed this adventure and got some great Christmas card photos. There are lots of crew members on site and they were generous with assisting with taking group shots etc. The Four Seasons Scotsdale recommended them and they were on point. Our driver picked us up right on time and he was a happy start to the journey. All the sunrise participants gathered at the shop which was clean and comfortable and then headed out in vans to the launch site. I got to assist in filling up the balloon (don't worry its mostly honorary) which made for some funny family stories and photos after the trip. Then off we went. I thought it would be scary but it wasn't. Gorgeous sunrise colors, peaceful and quite comfortable. Our pilot was completely competent in his duties and safety. He was also funny and kind. We landed safely and they brought us all back to the shop where there was a pretty buffet breakfast laid out for all. Lots of camaraderie in our shared experience after.

We love the Christmas card idea!! Thank you for letting us be a part of your family adventure and allowing us to share the hot air ballooning experience. We hope it provided many memories that will last a lifetime and are thrilled you were able to put a check on your bucket list. Cheers to conquering your fear of heights and enjoying new experiences. We did the sunrise tour in March of 2018. Our guide was very friendly and we had a great time. It was cool that multiple balloons go up at the same time so you can see how they move up and down which seems fast even though when you are up there it doesn’t even feel like you are moving. Would definitely recommend to check off your bucket list

Rainbow Ryders does it right. Their office is new and professional-looking. There is a large viewing window to their garage where you can see the various crews loading up the balloons. They host several groups at once but check-in was very easy/efficient. My kids (aged 9 and 7) were the youngest participants and fit right in. We hopped in a van with our group (we had the largest group at ~11) and arrived on site as the sun was rising. You are right there as the balloon inflates which helps build the excitement. In no time we were loaded into the basket and up we went. Jesse, our pilot, was knowledgeable and experienced and we spent >45 mins in the air. The time flew by because the ride was so peaceful and there was so much to see. My kids loved it, even the one who was initially scared. Afterwards they do a nice champagne/orange juice toast to celebrate the trip while the crew packs up. Then back at the office they serve a continental breakfast and hand out certificates to all of the riders. It was a truly amazing experience.

We love allowing our passengers to be a part of every step of the experience, even watching as our crew team prepares everything in the shop! It sure is incredible how magical the experience is, isn't it? You never truly realize the size of the balloon until it begins to inflate. We are glad to hear your children were able to conquer their fears and check off their bucket list with us! Cheers to soaring to new heights and we hope to see you and your family again soon!
