Learning to surf with Sandbar Surf School is a lifetime bucket list thing that you will never forget. We are the premier surf school in California's Central Coast and we have been teaching surf lessons here in Pismo Beach since 1996. We have tons of local surf knowledge as well as many of our instructors are world travelers/surfers. We truly love what we do and you will have the best time in the world going with us. Laugh with us, surf with us and maybe even come to one of our bonfires! We would not only love to meet you from wherever in the world you are from, but we promise that your surf experience with us will be the part of the trip that you can't stop talking about in the days to come.

Sandbar Surf School is awesome. The owner Jonny and his instructors are great. Even if you are in a group lesson he has a great instructor to student ratio, and they are able to teach at different levels as well. Definitely a must if visiting Pismo Beach

Instructors were very patient and kind. Even though it was our first time surfing, the instructors made it seem easy. We had a blast!
