Learning to surf with Sandbar Surf School is a lifetime bucket list thing that you will never forget. We are the premier surf school in California's Central Coast and we have been teaching surf lessons here in Pismo Beach since 1996. We have tons of local surf knowledge as well as many of our instructors are world travelers/surfers. We truly love what we do and you will have the best time in the world going with us. Laugh with us, surf with us and maybe even come to one of our bonfires! We would not only love to meet you from wherever in the world you are from, but we promise that your surf experience with us will be the part of the trip that you can't stop talking about in the days to come.

Our children age 9 and 12 had their first surf lesson today. They went from never being on a board to standing up and loving it. The instructors are friendly, helpful and polite. In particular 2 girls, Clover and we didn't catch the other girls name, helped our youngest throughout the lesson. They made the whole experience great. There was plenty of help for everyone in the group lesson. We booked online and the process was very easy from start to finish. Would definitely go with them again 👍

We were lucky enough to find this amazingly cool surf school. With their relaxed and positive attitude the instructors helped us to have a fab Californian surfing experience. They really wanted us to have the best time and we certainly did. Highly recommended. The Paul family London.
