The tour starts with the Crosstown Pizza Walking Tour which includes well-known and the oldest pizzeria place in America-Litlle Italy with the hundred of different restaurants where you can order the pizza slices, burgers, pasta and all of the Italian food samples that were brought by Italian emigrants in early 1900s. On this part of the tour, we will also pass through the neighbouring Greenwich Village with amazing pizzerias such as Blecker Street Pizza. On the North Village of the Greenwich, we will stop at one of the most iconic pizzerias in the world-Joe's pizza is top 10 listing restaurant guides in Time Out New York. Joe's Pizza is also referred to as « the quintessential New York slice.»

The next tour destination is the Lower East Side. This pizza walking excursion is Manhattan's pizza lover's paradise. Here you can find the Scarr's Pizza the old-fashioned Neapolitan pies, pizza-by-slices windows. Here the pizza makers will even make the special modern interpretation of New York City's signature dish. You can even learn from the pizza maker what effects of different ovens and signature manoeuvres.

David was a tremendous guide. Fun informative and well organized. Good sampling of different styles of pizza

TLDR: We could have saved about $200 and Googled the best reviewed pizza places in the area. PROS: The pizza was tasty. (Reason for the second star) CONS: - The tour guide didn't introduce himself or ask our names. We eventually introduced ourselves. - The tour guide didn't really tell us much aside from were going to this restaurant. - The guide only ate at the last stop and either was on his phone, randomly taking pictures of us or sat in silence. - We felt like we were doing a lot of the heavy lifting. CONCLUSION: Not much of a tour if you wanted to learn about the pizzas or the neighborhood. There was another pizza tour at one stop with a much better guide which reinforced our feelings about the tour.

Our guide was nice and knowledgeable. Would have tried more pizzas next time but made for a lovely day.
