Not really organised for me, as we had to make a call to get a driver which is easy if you know what your doing. But after a long flight you have to find the particular phone to phone them, couldn't really hear her on the phone with all the noise and just found it stressful. Taxi was easier the other times i have been to NY.
The car was very clean. The meet and greet service is not what you expect. You call at the terminal and then wait outside. On the reservation voucher it wrote that the toll fees are not included however when the reservation is form the airport to Manhattan you expect it to be included. The driver asked for tip and toll. The reason that I made the reservation was that it was cheaper than the execucar, however it did not end up cheaper in the end.
This company were very professional until we got into the cab. Driver confirmed that we were pre-payed but would have to pay for toll and TIPS. When we arrived at the hotel he wanted 10 for toll which and I stand to be corrected on this is 8 and TIPS. now in my world a TIP is a gratuity that you chose to pay on top of an agreed price and at your own discretion. This driver then produced his invoice for 27:50, toll and tips, and demanded payment. When I asked him why such a high figure he then started flipping over to past invoices which he wrote for other passengers. He became very agitated when I offered him 10 plus the toll, 20 in total. In the end I had to pay him the full fare as I was travelling with young children and things were starting to get out of hand. A nice welcome to NYC.
