I did not book this in advance, but now when I see their web site, I wish I would have, as they pick up from hotels. We arrived at Central Park by bus and a man immediately approached us. I asked the name of his company and he answered, "Central Park Tours". I googled and found nothing. Then he said, "Look at my glowing reviews." and showed me another company name. At this point we walked away. He chased after us, lowering his rates. We finally agreed to talk to the tour guide to make sure we could understand him. The tour guide, driving the pedicab, was wonderful. I didn't like the "boss" guy. Pedicab had the name "Fancy Apple" on it. We agreed to pay $100/ea, so slightly higher than the $95 on web site. At the end, he pedaled over to a Chase bank so we could pay him in cash. Otherwise, he wanted to charge tax. Drive asked for a tip at the end, which we had planned on giving. His pedal car was electric, so he only pedaled occasionally. Good tour. Book in advance to avoid the vultures.
