Sheldon picked us up at our hotel on time and was great from the start! We booked a 5 hr tour and we can’t believe how much we were able to see! The history behind each location, whether we drove by it or hopped out of the large van to see it outside was so informative and interesting to my husband and I and our 4 kids (ages 9-15). Sheldon was funny and knows so much about the history of NYC that the 5 hours flew by! He even took us on the subway to avoid traffic so we could make our dinner reservation on time. We checked off our NYC to do list on 1 tour. You can go to the locations on your to do list on your own but you’ll miss out on hearing all the details that only a life long New Yorker can can share. Don’t skip this tour! It’s seriously the best!

We did our 5 hour tour yesterday and it was worth every penny. Laurie was our guide and she was awesome. We learned so many things and saw so much more than I imagined. I defiantly recommend doing this tour. We got to stop and take pictures we stopped for food and bathroom breaks. So cool!

As a family of 5 with 3 teenagers and having never visited New York before I decided to book a 6 hour tour with Sheldon to show us the city as we were there over New Year and it was extremely busy! Initially I have to admit I was a little apprehensive as it is expensive - but I soon realised that everything in New York is expensive and this is worth the money ! Sheldon picked us up earlier than we expected but there was no issue waiting for us to get ready and then we set off in a comfortable sprinter van to see the city - and we did see so much ! Sheldon is a great story teller and a mine of information on New York - we would never have seen as much as we did without him - he is funny informative and full of passion about his city - his tour was superb even the kids agreed and I thought 6 hours might be a little long - we actually went over time - but it wasn’t enough !! It is expensive but New York is expensive and as Irish visitors we found the tipping system in general hard to comprehend - but this was a great tour and I would book with Sheldon again without question
