Our Coast Guard Licensed Captain and Certified Marine Naturalist will welcome you aboard Surfrider. You will get a tour of Newport Harbor. Followed by a fast boat ride out on the Pacific Ocean through Newport, Laguna Beach, and Dana Point in search of the abundant Marine Mammals off our beautiful coast. You will be given a narration by our expert Marine Naturalist about these amazing mammals

Dustin was a great captain and was able to find 2 different pods of dolphins. The ride out was fun. The music and information provided was spot on. Thanks for a great trip.

We loved the private boat. Dustin was awesome. We got to see a ton of dolphins and two blue whales. This was a highlight of our trip.

Wow, just wow! Got picked up took about 15 minutes to get out to open water. On our way out we got super close to a sea lion in Newport harbor. When we hit open water, that is where the thrill began. Definitely a thrilling boat ride…note that it’s a little bumpy so fun…might be scary for some who don’t like water or get motion sickness. We had calm waters so it was just fun vs bumpy. We went after the main whale migration time but we saw a TON of dolphins up close! We saw a whale (from afar) and sea lions as well. I knew we may not see a whale but the dolphins were more fun anyway! My daughter who is 13 had a blast! I gave her the choice of THIS or a day at Disneyland and we definitely made the right choice! So quiet and peaceful when it’s just you vs doing a huge boat with a time of people. This was WORTH IT!! Amazing memories. Captain Dusten was always using his binoculars to find marine life! At the end he dropped us off and we ate a delicious dinner at Bluewater Grill. Wish I could re-live this day!
