Photo Safari Yosemite

Our guide will meet up with your at your place of lodging or agreed upon location. You will drive your own vehicle following caravan style the guide driving their own vehicle. We use Walki-Talkies to communicate while traveling. You will visit classic sites in Yosemite Valley and Glacier Point. Photos will be made of your party and shared to you at the conclusion of the tour.

Pat Althizer the highly informed Photo Safari guide, will make sure you experience the best Yosemite has to offer, no matter what your budget or time frame. I cannot say enough positive things about this reliable, engaging, exerienced guide. Pat was accommodating with our limited time schedule, making sure we didn't miss any of the highlights of yosemite national park, a truly breathtaking American heritage. Pat was also flexible and patient, tailoring the Yosemite guide to our distinct interests and preferences. In a relatively short time the safari tour encompassed both the famous landmarks and less well known Yosemite treasures. In addition to a diverse sightseeing experience, his talents as a photographer gave new dimensions to the natural beauty of Yosemite. My travel companion and I took home professional quality photographs documenting the trip of a lifetime. As an added bonus, under Pat's expert tutelage we aquired camera skills allowing us to capture the multifaced beauty of the area in varying weather and light conditions. Pat is as dependable as he is personable; he met us promply at an out-of-the way small airport and he arrived at our hotel for the tour well prepared for the elements. His preparation and forethought made for a stressfree excursion. I highly recommend Photo Safari Yosemite and this insightful guide for visitors of all ages and backgrounds.

Yosemite, February, 2013. We were in Yosemite two days and I am delighted to report that my wife and I (experienced photographers) had a wonderful and productive winter photo excursion with Pat. He is a gentleman and did make sure we wasted no time getting to good vantage locations at the right time of day, etc. Even though we have photographed all over the world, Pat's attentiveness and assistance made our outing to Yosemite extraordinary by any measure. We plan to go out with him again in the fall.

I worked as a doorman at Tenaya Lodge for 2 years , I would see Pat pick up quest and take them on a Photo Safari. When Pat would drop his quest off I would always question them about their experience with Pat and Photo Safari , they all gave him a 5 star rating and I can say that there was never a Negative comment made. Pat is always professional , warm and friendly . His knowledge of Yosemite and Photography is outstanding .
