Keegan was a great guide and we had a fantastic morning of snowshoeing up to a ridge in Deer Valley and a fun sled ride down. Keegan was very knowledgeable about the area and had several interesting things he pointed out along the way during our hike. He was super helpful with our gear and made sure we were comfortable. Would definitely do this again. Our kids are older and they really loved it - a great workout too!

My brother & I did the snowshoe & s’mores tour and the snowshoe & sled tour. Both were different experiences and a lot of fun! For the snowshoe & s’mores our guide took us snowshoeing in Deer Valley. Guide was cool, inclines were gradual, and there were beautiful views. Best part was running down hills in the snowshoes! After the hike, our guide waited for us as we enjoyed the atmosphere, pool tables, and s’mores bar at the Montage resort overlooking ski mountains. The snowshoe & sled was a much more rigorous uphill hike (though our guide somewhat tailored it to us which was nice & we were up for a challenge). We adventured in the mountains & even ended up creating our own snowshoe path for a while. Got a crazy good workout & the sledding at the end was a blast because we basically sled down a mountain, not just a small hill! I would recommend this company.

We learned about Jeff’s excursion company from this site. Based on the reviews, I reached out to Jeff in advance about a snowshoe outing for my family of 5 (kids 6-10 yrs). Jeff was super friendly, patient and just lovely to deal with on the phone with my endless questions. He was open to any variation of the excursion that would fit best for our family. He followed up and was timely with all returned calls and communication. On the day of the outing he was on time, exceptionally patient with my straggler kids and our general disorganization. He drove us a short way from the hotel to a trail where he outfitted a of us with snowshoes. He was thoughtful to ask about special physician issues and provided me some ski like poles to help me because I have a bad back. The outing was perfect. We walked in the deep snow and took in the amazing views. He checked in with us often to see how we and the kids were doing. We stopped at a good spot for sledding and he created a path for the kids and brought his own sleds so the kids could just enjoy and play in the snow. He was incredibly patient (my husband lost his phone and Jeff cheerfully helped him look for it in the thick snow) and fun to be with. He always jumped in to help the kids on a sled or with whatever they needed. We don’t typically do organized outings on vacation because I find being with a guide not always comfortable. Being with Jeff on our outing was like being with another family member (except a more patient one!) We highly recommend Jeff and thought the outing was special, amazing and a great value.
