Strictly Private Tours from Same Family or Group
A minimum of 2 / Maximum 3 passengers per helicopter. Groups of 4+ taken in multiple helicopters. Depending on availability, may take off at the same time.
Due to comfort and weight balance of the aircraft, passengers weights limit must not exceed 275lbs per person; 620lbs total. If weight restrictions are exceeded, we will cancel the tour and no refund will be given
A minimum of 2 seats must be purchased even if only 1 passenger wishes to travel; this is a private tour, and passenger groups are not mixed
Minimum age is 7 years, required to sit by a closed door. Ages 12 years and older may sit next to an open door.
ALL tours are Doors-Off (Except for passengers 7-11 years old)
Passengers must provide their own means of transportation to our office for check in.
Check in is 40 minutes prior. Late check ins will be considered as a no show and subject to full price.

The staff was excellent. They really prepared us for what to expect, and they prepped us with safety information so we felt secure. Our pilot, Grey Wolf (yes, that's right), was outstanding as well. We took a "doors-off' tour of the island, the 55 minute long ride. What beautiful scenery and great information from our very skilled pilot. The ride was very smooth, and not very windy in the cockpit at all. A very enjoyable time! We would very highly recommend Mauna Loa Helicopter Tours.

Our kids bought their dad this tour for his 70 th birthday. It was on his bucket list. I was there with him and tagged along. I had never been in a helicopter.
