We booked Skagway Luxury Tours after another private tour company experienced some hiccups. Our tour guide, Jaren, was wonderful! He was kind, informative, and kept us laughing with his jokes! We had lived in Alaska for years, yet Jaren had incredible historical information about each area we were going to that we had never heard before. It was great learning from him because it was clear how much passion and love he has for learning knowledge and sharing it with others. This company is extremely family friendly—we had four kids, two of which are on the younger side. Jaren was especially incredible with all of our kids and impressively remembered their names. Jaren answered all of our kids’ questions with kindness, patience and humor. He also ensured they had a great time as well and talked with them as we checked things out. When booking excursions/tours, it’s paramount for us to have a guide who is engaging with the entire group. Jaren exceeded our expectations and were so appreciative the care he took to make our kids feel included and special. As far as time, Jaren was prompt and kept us on schedule ensuring we had hours before our cruise left. There was never a concern or not getting back in time. The car itself was spacious, clean with a luxury feel! Vanessa was very communicative with any changes and ensured we were aware of all necessary documents for traveling. She responded quickly to questions and ensured everything was as smooth as possible. The company she has created and maintained is most definitely the most luxurious and personal ways to enjoy Skagway without the crowds. Highly, highly recommend!

Jaren, our guide, was brilliant, he really knew his stuff. Took his time explaining all of the history of Skagway and the surrounding area. He even managed to find a couple of bears for us ! Would recommend this company.
