I recently brought a group of 16 ladies out to Colorado Springs for an adventure trip. We rafted, biked down Pike's Peak and I can honestly say, this private rock climbing course was a true highlight of the trip. We were originally scheduled to do the clinic in the Garden of the Gods Park. While a gorgeous spot, I'm so glad Brian, the owner suggested we shift to the nearby Red Rocks Open Space park to provide more flexibility and privacy for the group. We basically had the place to ourselves. Everything was super organized and well planned out. They had several lines set up where we could break the group into smaller 3 person groups. (A big plus with a group that size so people aren't standing around for too long). We were taught the basics of both climbing as well as belaying. And we had an all-female guide group. So awesome! All abilities and comfort zones were accommodated. You could basically make it as challenging as you want. I personally learned a lot (not only how to pace yourself at altitude but the value in sitting back and telling yourself a solution is present even if it doesn't immediately present itself.) i.e. -- if it makes for a good hand hold, it's probably a good future foot hold. :) Would highly recommend Front Range to anyone from novices to experienced climbers (they can definitely handle it all). In addition to Colorado Springs -- they also do canyoneering/sport climbing in other ares like Moab. Look forward to trying it again soon!

We traveled to Colorado Springs and booked a half-day rock climbing experience with Front Range Climbing Company. We are a family of four (teens and 50s) with zero to moderate climbing experience, including one on the autism spectrum. Our guide, Molly, came well-prepared and was able to gauge our level of experience and ability. We enjoyed a unique, exhilarating, and confidence building experience while our guide encouraged us and kept us safe. This was a highlight of our Colorado vacation and we would do this again in a heartbeat!
