We decided to celebrate our ten year anniversary spending the day on a private wine tour. Going into the experience, we didn’t know what to expect. Prior to our tour date, we were given a brief questionnaire asking us about our experience with wine tasting, and what varietals we prefer. They used this information to tailor our day to what would best fit our profile. The day started on time, when Paul, our driver picked us up at our hotel. Paul is friendly, and easy to talk to. He provided a comfortable experience that was helpful, and respectful. We ended up tasting at three wineries, all with their own special qualities. I’ve been to many wineries, but never have I felt as welcomed and attended to. I would love to do this again one day, and I would recommend you might like to as well.

We had a wonderful experience meeting and talking with winemakers at the three wineries. Karina, our driver, was very knowledgeable, and we had an extensive discussion of wine-related subjects during our travels between stops. I would highly recommend Sustainable Wine Tours for anyone interested in the wines from the Santa Ynez Valley region.

What a fabulous tour, it exceeded all of our expectations. Frances was a wonderful driver and guide, and was very knowledgeable of the Santa Ynez valley and all aspects of the winemaking process. We went to three fabulous - and very different - wineries so we got to learn some different perspectives. These were truly private tastings with the winemakers and it was worth every penny. Thank you!
