We took the Vortex tour based on our research. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and 'chatty'. We were there during school break and the whole of Sedona was jam packed with lots of people and lots traffic on the road and that itself caused a bit of problem. The most important reason for us to choose the tour was to see a nice Sunset, be we never got to see it. We did not get the so called spiritual experience either. All in all it was not the best experience we can say we have had. I won't be recommending it to any of my friends.

Thanks for your feedback. Our Vortex Tour visits several Sedona locations, each with its own unique energy. The tour is mostly on pavement, and the emphasis is on energy spots, not necessarily photography. For this reason the jeep may not be at an ideal sunset viewing location at sunset. Many people take both tours: one to visit the energy places, and then another 4 x 4 tour that goes off into the western canyons where you can watch the sun set from a great vista. We do have a value back guarantee, and I hope you take advantage of it and return and take another tour on us!

This is one of many jeep tours in Sedona. The vortex tour took us to 2 stops and a discussion of the area formations and a very brief description of the tour. We asked if any special equipment to bring and were told no. It turned out we did some uphill hiking on rocky trails and hiking boots or good tennis shoes would be advised. We had several large adults and the jeep was not comfortable for 6 adults. Overall, it was an ok tour but I wouldn't do this tour again and perhaps try one of the other providers.

Kevin's knowledge of the Sedona area, its' history, geology, and spirituality made our experience truly moving and we would highly recommend Earth Wisdom Tours with Kevin as your tour guide! Don't be afraid of the off road terrain if you are seniors like we are. He makes the journey an easy one every step of the way. Our thanks to him for making our afternoon awesome and inspiring.
