Escape from the crowded tourist areas for a private, 90-minute surf lesson for two near Lahaina, Maui. Choose from an early-, mid-, or late-morning time frame. This surf session will focus on water safety, proper surf technique, surfing style, and etiquette. The experienced, professional instructor guarantees students will stand up, catch a wave, and leave the beach as a certified surfer. All lessons are private so they will never combine guests from separate parties. All the necessary equipment — rash guard, state-of-the-art soft-top board, and reef shoes — included.

I took my 23 year old son with me for a private lesson with Eric. He is a great instructor and made sure we all caught waves and stood up. The location is excellent and you felt like Eric was totally focused on your success. I knew this was a more expensive option than the other surf schools but I felt it was the best and I was not disappointed. Great for all levels of skill; just don't expect a photographer in the water wanting to sell you a video or photos when you are done! This is purely a surfing operation!

Cody gave a great experience! Kids learned a lot and had a good time. Highly recommended. Nice area to learn to surf, they tell you where to go.

My 19 and 21 year old sons immensely enjoyed surf lessons from Cody. Every staff member I spoke with (there were a few as I had to reschedule) was amazing and accommodating. My boys were catching their first waves within minutes and had a blast! I felt they were safe and in good hands at all times.
