Embark on a journey to an overlook showing the landscape of Heber Valley! Picture this, driving up forest road 309, surrounded by the beauty of nature, for roughly an hour of gentle exploration. Along the way, you'll likely encounter wild animals, adding a touch of excitement to your adventure. As you make your way to the top, a stunning view of the Heber Valley awaits, with Mount Timpanogos towering in the distance.
There are no bathrooms along the way, the opportunity to stop, explore on foot, and capture photographs is encouraged.
Temperatures drop 10-15 degrees from the valley to the view point. Doors may be on or off and what is outside (usually dust!) might just be on the inside. If it is raining there is a high chance we will get wet and or muddy. Heat is usually not much of an issue but it can get cool especially in the evenings and on a moments notice with a storm rolling through. Highly recommended to book this 1.5 hours before sunset. Snow under 1ft does not usually stop us.
