The favorite part of the tour was the ability to see and hear about the various mansions in NYC, including the history and the specifics of the buildings. Our tour guide, Kevin, was most knowledgeable and communicated the most interesting facts. Also, Kevin was very personable. Despite the rain, we were able to see many interesting sites. We would like to schedule another tour with Kevin when we return to NYC.

This tour is an eye opener for both tourists and native New Yorkers like me. We were inspired to do this tour because of the current TV show on The Gilded Agebut I have always been take with the history of the isle of Manhattan. Our tour guide, Kevin, was extremely knowledgeable in the history, art and architecture of the era. He added background stories that brought these tycoons back to life, in a way. He was also conscious of taking into account the pace at which we were moving to cover a 32 block walk through the mansions area. I highly recommend this private tour and I know you will enjoy it as well.

Kevin, our tour guide was the most informative, energetic, thoughtful, enjoyable guide we have ever experienced! We now have a new appreciation for New York's "Gilded Age" history ! and every time we see an old beautiful mansion tucked away between sky scrapers, we will know the story ...... He had a plethora of knowledge, and he answered all of our questions with excitement +!! Thank you for a great experience, we will be repeat customers on every trip to NYC!
