Your guide, Adam has been guiding outdoor adventures for over ten years and will customize an adventure to best fit your needs and wants, all while making safety his number one priority. Adam will also capture the magnificent beauty of Valley of Fire through his camera during the duration of your time together at no additional cost.

While learning about Valley of Fire’s vast history, vegetation, and beautiful wildlife, you will hike through routes created by Adam.

Your tour will include pickup and drop-off from your hotel, a fun and knowledgeable guide, snacks/water, and a complimentary photo package. We believe in quality over quantity. Signed up for a morning hike in the Valley of Fire, 6am pick up from the hotel. One hour drive to the National Park area, did two of the more challenging hikes, a good work out with stunning views and scenery. Adam is great company, enthusiastic & knowledgable without being over the top, a good balance. He brings a good camera & takes loads of photos which he emails to you soon after the trek. One tip, I wore heavy hiking boots, better to use more supple hiking shoes to cope with the scrambling up & down the sandstone inclines. Do it. Great day out, you won’t regret it one bit. Then a night in old Vegas on Fremont St, ....Adam recommended Carsons Kitchen for food, brilliant....then walk Fremont St to the “Whiskey Licker” bar... good live band on the stage 👍 Have fun.

Most of the reviews I've done for my holiday in Vegas this time around have been fairly brief but I feel this tour deserves so much more. I spent a lot of time researching which tour to book whilst in Vegas as we fancied a bit of an adventure away from the bright lights and cheese that Vegas has on offer. Myself, my girlfriend and my cousin were picked up from our hotel by Adam bang on time. We joined another happy customer and set off for our half day tour. Within about 5 minutes of setting off all 3 of us had agreed that Adam was 'the man' and this was going to be an awesome day. The kind of guy you want to have a beer with as his stories would have you in stitches and also the kind of guy who you would want to have your back if you're about to summit Everest. His enthusiasm was infectious and as the day went on he never lagged at any point. Every bit of information he provided was interesting and never came across like he was just reading off of a script which a lot of tour guides can fall foul of. He included every member of the party in conversation so no one ever felt left out, provided plenty of water and snacks and checked how everyone was doing every step of the way. We saw plenty of incredible sights in The Valley of Fire and have come away with memories to last a lifetime. Adam took hundreds of photos which he forwarded onto us all which were mind blowingly good. We saw all sorts of wildlife which although couldnt be guaranteed as you would expect, just put the icing on the cake for what was a great tour. To be honest, even if we hadn't of seen anything it still would have been an amazing day which is worth bearing in mind. Something I'd read on other reviews was that Adam checked out people's fitness levels and asked what kind of level of adventure they wanted to go for just to tailor the tour to them. We were all looking for the best and most extreme he had to offer and I can assure anyone reading this that it didn't disappoint. I won't ruin it for anyone else but let's just say it pushed a few physical boundaries! In conclusion, other tours might be good, but this one I promise you will be better. I've done my fair share of tours dotted around the world and in my opinion this is one of the best ones out there. Adam is clearly a guy who enjoys what he does and that truly shines through. My wife and I just had the MOST amazing afternoon with Adam from Outdoor Travel Tours! So many happy and incredible moments filled the time that I am not sure where to begin. Long story short- The Valley of Fire tour is a must see and with Adam your customized experience of this magical landscape will be like no other! Coordinating everything with Adam was a breeze. He was extremely friendly and flexible. The website was very easy to use. He picked us up at our hotel and dropped us back off so we didn't have to worry about transportation. The ride was really comfortable and we told him that we don't eat gluten so, in addition to many drink options, he provided a bunch of gluten free snacks for us. On the ride out to Valley of Fire Adam taught us about the wildlife and asked us what we hoped to experience on the hike. He took the time to have a really clear idea of our comfort zones, concerns, any safety issues...and also just to get to know us a little and let us get to know him. The drive time flew by. When we got to the park he brought us to the visitor center so that we could use the bathroom and have the option of checking the center out. Then we were on our way. The tour was spectacular!!! On it's own the scenery is breathtaking- so diverse, unique, and colorful but with Adam's insights and off the beaten path routes the experience goes to the next level. Adam was happy to answer our questions and teach us about the plants and wildlife as we hiked. He did an excellent job customizing the route to our different athletic abilities where it was fun and challenging for both of us but not overwhelming. He was super encouraging and supportive- always ready to lend a hand when needed. We were able to experience many terrains within the Valley of Fire, which we would never have seen and interacted with if we didn't have Adam's expertise. The time flew by and it was definitely filled with many moments that top the charts of our Vegas visit. I really can't say enough what a great investment this tour is. It is worth every penny and every minute. We will definitely be recommending Outdoor Travel Tours to friends and coming back for another tour when we visit Vegas again. As if the tour wasn't amazing enough- Adam includes the option of a free photo package. We were able to take in the Valley of Fire completely focused on the experience (no fumbling for phones or staring at screens) and still have many memories that he happily captured for us. Adam is extremely experienced and knowledgeable- if you have children, are single, in a group, a couple...of any age or hiking skill level he will customize a tour for you that will be your perfect match and surpass your expectations for a Valley of Fire experience.
