Spend your day exploring Valley of Fire’s fascinating sandstone formations. Your guide, Adam has been guiding outdoor adventures for over ten years and will customize an adventure to best fit your needs and wants, all while making safety his number one priority. Adam will also capture the magnificent beauty of Valley of Fire through his camera during the duration of your time together at no additional cost.

While learning about Valley of Fire’s vast history, vegetation, and beautiful wildlife, you will hike through routes created by Adam.

Your tour will include pickup and drop-off from your hotel, a fun and knowledgeable guide, snacks/water, and a complimentary photo package. We believe in quality over quantity. Adam Bautz, guide and owner of this company, took 6 exceptionally well-traveled senior ladies on what we agree was one of our top tours ever. We are so thankful we chose this private tour as Adam adjusted his plans to fit our varied abilities. He was always there with a stabilizing arm or hand for those of us who needed extra help. He made it possible for us to experience this uniquely beautiful place, its wildlife, its geology, and its history. He also added stories from his extensive experience leading challenging hikes into areas we could only see from an overlook so we could learn even more about this place he obviously loves so much. Guides are too often mechanical about the sites they show visitors; Adam’s obvious passion for this place adds such meaning to the extensive knowledge he has to share. Besides all this, he is a charming and personable young man whose company we thoroughly enjoyed. It is not possible to recommend him too highly; he is simply the best for adventurers of any age and ability level.

My friends and I wanted to explore the Valley of Fire and boy are we sure glad we found “Outdoor Travel Tours”. Adam, the owner and guide, was friendly and very knowledgeable, we felt very safe and confident with him. He was the best guide we could have hoped for and he went beyond all expectations. My friends and I like to be outdoors but he showed us several parts of the valley that we would have never been able to explore by ourselves or with another tour company. We climbed up and down different parts of the valley with Adam guiding us through every step. He was patient but also wanted us to challenge our limits in a safe way. He is a natural teacher who is extremely passionate about the outdoors and nature. We learned a lot from him about the local environment, geology, plants, local animals, etc... We are already planning on returning and booking another tour with Adam. I have hiked all over the world but this tour will always be a highlight. As an amazing bonus he took over 150 photos during our tour which he immediately sent to us within 3 hours of completing the tour. I can’t wait to show my family and friends back home our amazing adeventure! Thanks for an amazing day Adam!

My friend and I took Adam's Private Valley of Fire Hiking Tour, and we are so glad we did. Adam is owner operator of the tour company, he's very knowedgable, capable, accomodating and a very nice guy. He picked us up an hour early, so we could see the sunrise in the desert. He had everything (water, high quality snacks (Kind, Cliff and Luna bars too!) gatorades and really good backpacks all ready to go for us. He tailored the tour to our physical abilities and our curiosity, taking us off the road less traveled. If I come back to Vegas, I will book another tour and bring my family. I recommend you do to. Also, words cannot express how beautful the Valley of Fire is. You feel connected to earth and higher power. It's relaxing and you'll feel challenged. It's a hiker's paradise. Get off the strip, out of the casinos, and go hiking with Adam!
