Savannah, Georgia is a charming Southern with a Historic District of cobblestone streets and grand antebellum houses. Your tour begins at the beginning of the city, where your guide will recount Savannah’s founding and evolution over more than three centuries, remnants of which are present throughout. Our guide Arthur provided our four-member group an outstanding experience. His expansive knowledge of Savannah, informed by both his lifetime experience in the city and formal degree in history was impressive and engaging. Arthur was amazing as our private tour guide! He stayed fully engaged with all five of us and was very knowledgeable. Arthur was a gentlemen and even gave his jacket to one of us when it was cold. Learning about the squares was fascinating. We highly recommend Arthur as a guide.
