White Pocket is a place so remote and amazingly unique that it can feel like you have stepped

into another realm where geology decided to bend the rules.

White Pocket's geological formation is made of a thin layer of white sandstone lumped up into

mounds and cracked into polygonal shapes, somewhat like dried out whipped cream. Under

this thin white layer reigns a chaos of yellow, orange and red swirls twisting upon each other. If

you are lucky enough to hike there after a summer thunderstorm, you will enjoy a myriad of

reflection pools, creating beautiful mirroring effects and infinite opportunities of otherworldly

pictures. It is definitely a visual paradise!

Jim is an expert driver and a very patient guide as I’m traveling with an elderly. Beautiful place and worth the trip.

George came to our Airbnb to pick us up which was much appreciated. He was knowledgeable & knew the area with great passion & depth. Page has quite a story to it as well as amazing sites, including White Pocket. The weather was not ideal with a cold early March wind. We enjoyed it nonetheless! The Suburban type vehicle was very comfortable on the rough road. George was attentive to our needs. Highly recommend this tour company.

This trip was amazing. Jim was our guide and he was absolutely fantastic. He made our day incredible. This spot was not over crowded easy to get shots with no one in your view which was fantastic for such a scenic place. Views were great, ride to the hike was fun and he made the whole day fun and enjoyable for all of us. He even helped us get some awesome photos. If I am in the area again I will definitely look into the other tours they offer and request Jim again.
