This tour is customizable! During the winter months this tour will only cover the Northern Range of Yellowstone National Park. The Northern range is a wonderful place to view wildlife such as Wolves, Bison, Foxes, Coyotes, Deer, Elk, Otters, Eagles, and much more! During the summer the Northern Range is a wonderful place to see all the animals listed above with the addition of Grizzly and Black Bears!

We had a great time experiencing Yellowstone through Yellowstone Journeys. Our guide, Nolan, was very knowledgeable and very easy going. He knew exactly where to take us to have the best Yellowstone expedition that we could. The picnic stop was a perfect recharge. We didn't think Yellowstone could get anymore beautiful but we were wrong.

This was an amazing tour of the north loop of Yellowstone! Nolan was really knowledgeable, friendly, and knew all the spots to go. Communication leading up to the trip was great. Being able to sit back and really take in Yellowstone rather than worrying about logistics (food, itinerary, driving) was such a treat!

Our trip with Yellowstone Journey was absolutely amazing! Our guide, Nolan, who grew up in Gardiner, MT just outside the park has been exploring Yellowstone's wild things and places for his whole life. We were fortunate to see some incredible wildlife over the 5 days we were there. Highlights were several very up close looks at wolves including a wolf den with 7 babies! We had amazing encounters with several grizzly bears including a mother with spring cubs (cubs born a few months before and very tiny). We saw black bears too including a mother with young cubs on two occasions. Many elk getting ready to drop their babies a well as bison who had recently dropped their babies - known in the park as "red dogs". Probably the most amazing encounter we had was observing the birth of a baby bison...from start to finish over a 30 minute period. Incredible! All of this plus many species of waterfowl and birds, red foxes, coyotes and more. Nolan knew his natural history and made sure we were in great positions to photograph wildlife when it was appropriate. Excellent service and value. We highly recommend Yellowstone Journey especially if you really are keen on the wildlife of the park. Nolan knows where to find the critters! John & Pam K, Massachusetts
