This is the worst tour experience I’ve had. Throughout the tour were supposed to stop at local bars or breweries to grab a drink, hence the title of the tour. This was very misleading. We met outside of a bar for the beginning of the tour and we were supposed to go in for a drink as stated on the tour information. The guide did not proceed to stop to get a drink until halfway through the tour. Which by then we were supposed to have stopped by at least 3 stops for drinks. The tour guide himself was not meant for the job. He was very quiet. Very unenthusiastic. The information he was telling throughout the tour as well wasn’t informational. He did not come prepared and it was extremely frustrating. I honestly could’ve gave a better tour by doing a little google research. My girlfriend and I were not the only people who felt this way. When people realized that the tour guide was not stopping for drinks and his lack of preparedness, they left. I don’t know if the tour guide was a filler for someone else who couldn’t have made it or what.

My family and I had the pleasure of joining Matt for a ghost tour in Richmond, VA, and it was an unforgettable experience. Matt was not only incredibly knowledgeable about the city’s haunted history, but his passion for storytelling brought the ghostly tales to life. He shared detailed accounts of Richmond’s dark past with a perfect balance of eerie and entertaining. What really set Matt apart, though, was his warm personality and genuine enthusiasm for what he does. By the end of the tour, it felt like we weren’t just following a guide—we had made a new friend. He was approachable, answered all of our questions, and even took the time to chat with us afterward, sharing more stories about the city and giving us local recommendations.
