The Rio Grande Race Course was a lot of fun for my son and I. The trip was relatively easy, ( I credit our guide Heather for helping make them easier) but did feature some class three rapids which were fun and exciting. I could see where a higher water flow earlier in the season would make them really quick and more challenging. Our guide Heather was fantastic giving us direction and history/geology lessons throughout our trip and even some great suggestions for local eating spots.

I live in Taos, but had never done any type of rafting here. I learned so much about the geology & Taos history from our sweet and hilarious guide Christine. It was super fun & exhilarating. I highly recommend the trip! I will definitely be back in early June next year.

Great experience for our family of 3! My daughter is 9 years old and it was her first time doing a river rafting trip. This was the perfect intro for her. Our family went out with a mother and her son, so it was 5 guests total plus our guide Billy. Billy was awesome - very patient with my daughter and he had a wealth of knowledge about rafting and various outdoor activities. He gave my daughter ample opportunity to safely hop out of the boat and swim for a bit which made the experience all the more enjoyable for us. I highly recommend the team at Far Flung. Billy, Garrett, Sid and the rest of the crew kept it both fun and safe for everyone. Looking forward to doing a more challenging race course with them in the future!
