Tour was fun. Brian was a great tour guide. Muir Woods stop was a cool way to start the trip walking in the woods. First winery was just OK. Sonoma Square lunch stop was great and did a free wine tasting in the square. last 2 wineries were good and we stopped at overlook for pictures of Golden Gate Bridge on the way home. Great day.
This tour was fantastic -- our driver/guide, Alan was so great! He was funny, informative and very accommodating. We went first to Muir Woods and spent about an hour and a half there. My daughter and I were happy to find that we were allowed to go off on our own to explore and given a time when we would all meet back at the van. Alan showed us the map of the trails which was very helpful so we knew where to go. The woods were amazing -- so peaceful and beautiful. After that, we went to our first winery, then lunch and then two more wineries. The wineries were all a little different from one another but all were great. The people who ran the tastings at each of the wineries were very nice and friendly, and at one place, we were even given a little tour to where they crush the grapes and store the barrels. Of course the wineries were all in beautiful areas. On the trip back, when we approached the Golden Gate Bridge, Alan graciously pulled into an area where we could get out and get great pictures of the bridge and the bay with San Francisco in the background. This was so nice of him because I don't think this was on our itinerary but we all took a LOT of pictures. It was great traveling with a small group -- on this particular day there were only six of us and it was fun getting to know one another. Then Alan dropped us off right at our hotel. My daughter and I agreed it was a wonderful day we would always remember.
Great day, great time. Brian was awesome, great tour guide, the best!
