Brian was an awesome tour guide and did a great job in managing time optimally. Made the tour very enjoyable. Thanks Brian.
This trip was great from start to finish. But as much as the Muir Woods and wineries were awesome, it was the tour guide, Brian, who made the day unforgettable. Brian was full of information, history and anecdotes and held our attention the entire trip. A funny, enthusiastic and hell of a nice guy. Congratulations Viator on the quality of your staff. Thanks from David and Narelle.
It started at 8:30 with a pickup in SF, and ended at 6:15. We went on a Thursday. I did another public wine tour large group in Napa a couple years ago and I enjoyed this small group tour much much more!
We stopped at Muir Woods in the morning before the big crowds -which is a very big deal for over an hour, and spent the rest of the afternoon at 3 wineries. We also had a break in downtown Sonoma for lunch nearby a place offering chocolate tastings. Two stops included a quick group demonstration and tasting, with free time, and the last winery was a more informal tasting. The basic tasting fees were included. There were no crowds. And even though there were only 3 wineries other tours offer 4, it was nice because we weren't rushed at all. We even got a quick photo stop at the GG bridge on our way back into the city.
It was beautiful and peaceful! Our guide was so nice and always was giving interesting facts about the areas we were visiting or driving by. He was always going out of his way to check in with people to make sure we all were having a good time.
I am going again next month!
