Boarding was very organized and we actually took off early because everyone was onboard which was great. As a local, I found the tour guide to be very effective pointing out interesting things on land to those that were visiting our beautiful city. Although I am a local, it was my first time taking the ferry to Salem and I really enjoyed it. I was concerned that the walk from the ferry landing into Salem Center would be a bit much but it was very close and doable.

This ferry is more than just transportation – it’s an experience. The convenience of skipping Boston traffic, coupled with the chance to enjoy the scenic route, was unbeatable. This was the ideal way to travel, and I can’t recommend it enough for anyone going between Salem and Boston. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, this ride is a memorable way to enjoy two fantastic cities from the water. Highly recommend!

The views were amazing and the staff were so nice and welcoming. There is also a snack/drink bar with some good treats. This is a must when traveling back from Salem.
