My guide was Kevin, who was both personable and informative. I'll start here by saying that I was in Salem for 3 weeks, and I went on A LOT of tours. Too many, some might say. And when you go on a lot of tours, you very quickly find the same stories being told. By the time I got to this tour, I'd already been on 10+ other tours. I went in expecting all the same stories. So why take it? you might be asking. The quick answer: I enjoy walking around, and I enjoy listening to ghost stories. So here's the thing: while some of the stories Kevin told were familiar, some were completely new to me - which was definitely a pleasant surprise! My only suggestion to the tour operators would be to lengthen the tour, maybe to 1.5 hours instead of just an hour. Having it be just an hour didn't detract from my enjoyment, but it would take the pressure off of the poor tour guides to try to fit everything into an hour, and also allow them to spend a bit more time on the stories and locations. With that said, Kevin was great. If you're looking for a nice walk around downtown Salem, and some fun ghost stories, this is a solid choice.

Really enjoyed this tour. It wasn’t too strenuous, the tour guide was very knowledgeable and I learned a good bit of history about Salem. I also appreciated that this was a local and female owned business.

Kat was AMAZING! We loved our personal ghost tour! 10/10 highly recommend! This was a local business that provided this service and it was hands down better than the other tours we’ve done with larger groups!
