CONS: The tour bus is a double-decker with with worlds loudest and ineffective air conditioning downstairs, and half-shaded open air seating up above. Sitting in the rear near the A/C unit made it impossible to hear the driver's narration. Topside seats, under the shade were much quieter and more comfortable that downstairs, but had two disadvantages: (1) a steep spiral stairway with sketchy handrails, not suitable for the mobility impaired, and (2) a very low ceiling for the shaded front section (one of our party hit her head three times getting in and out.
PROS: Hits all the major attractions, with a a great narration. If you want to spend a day exploring, get the tour itinerary ahead of time, and plan on which locations to "hop off" and spend some time at, like the Art Museum, the VFW Hall. the Buckhorn Museum, or the Market Square. Recommend the bus tour and river barge combo; there are many sights that you can only hear about on the Riverwalk.
